B.C. is not planning a unvaccinated tax

Victoria – Bonnie Henry and Adrian Dix address the question about extra healthcare tax for the people that have not got the COVID-19 vaccine and mandatory vaccine for all British Columbians at the B.C. COVID-19 briefing a couple days ago on January 11, 2022

Bonnie Henry fumbled her words like she was caught off guard and unsure of how to answer the question “I don’t foresee making it mandatory for everyone in the province.” Henry said and deferred the rest of the question to Dix for an answer.

Adrian Dix first shot back with a comment the measures in Quebec were just announced that day and no details were released about the measures not expressing if he approved of it or not “I think it’s important to recognize they spoke about the idea today. I don’t think they inform people of the details in Quebec. ” Dix said. ending his answer with “We’re not planning a similar measure in B.C.”
