Earlier Global News reported another B.C. School District is not going to force illegal mandates on school staff.
“With multiple layers of protection currently in place throughout all of our buildings, we know that our schools are low-risk settings for transmission,” Stan Petersen, chair of the Abbotsford Board of Education, said in a statement issued Wednesday
“Furthermore, our public health experts have confirmed that our schools are not a primary source of COVID-19 spread.”
the school board leaders and Fraser health officials had a meeting to discuss the vaccination mandates “a vaccine mandate for all K-12 staff would have a limited impact on transmission rates and potentially exacerbate inequities for some,” according to a statement from the board.
the statement came a day after Surrey and New Westminster school boards announced their decision to not force vaccinations on school staff.
BC Liberals have raised their voices to express their anti-science opinions and still being hell bent on forcing everyone to be vaccinated when there’s no science to back up how they feel.
