Someone just remembered their rights to personal medical information privacy

“I will not share private medial information publicly” wrote Jessica Robb.

On Monday, CTV News Edmonton posted an image of a statement on Twitter from reporter Jessica Robb after an unfortunate incident that happened live on air.

“A message from Jessica Robb: On Sunday night, a very personal and vulnerable moment unfolded as I reported live on air.” CTV News Edmonton posted from their official Twitter account with replies turned off.

In the statement Robb said she had a “personal and vulnerable” moment which aired live on television.

She thanked everyone that reached out to her with “supportive messages” while criticizing others for asking questions calling it “hatred” and “tied to false theories” about what caused the medical incident.

“I will not share private medial information publicly” wrote Jessica Robb, according to CTV News Edmonton.

According to the statement Robb is fine and she believes there’s a “reasonable explanation”

“understanding of my own medical background provides a reasonable explanation of what happened.” read the statement.

With no evidence to disprove any “false theories” the statement denies al allegations the Covid-19 vaccine had any role in the medical emergency.

“I can, however, confirm that the situation was in no way related to the Covid-19 vaccine” ended the statement.

While Robb didn’t provide any examples of the “hatred” and “false theories” that were shared along side the video, the comments and the quote retweets appear to be mostly people questioning her Covid-19 vaccine status, how many Covid-19 “boosters” she has received or the unusually higher numbers of “medical emergencies” and “cardiac arrests” cropping up than previous years.

“How many times this year have we heard the term “medical emergency” and “cardiac arrest”?” quote retweeted DeAnna Lorraine, Newsmax Political Correspondent.

While personal medical information is privacy protected data she does have the right to refuse to make it public.

In the fall of 2022 the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bell, Mirko Bibic announced on linkedin they will be requiring employees to be “fully vaccinated“.

“Vaccination is essential to reducing the impact of COVID-19 and helping us all get past this crisis, and that’s why we’re requiring all Bell employees to be fully vaccinated in order to return to work or visit any Bell workplace this fall”

Considering Jessica Robb is an employee of CTV News which is owned by Bell, it is safe to say Bell CEO Mirko Bibic already exposed all their employees private medical information with the Covid-19 vaccine policy announcement.

Viva Frei pointed out Jessica Robb had already shared her “private medical information” with the world previously and that is why people are now asking questions.

Robb proudly shared her Covid-19 vaccination status (3x jabbed) when she caught Covid-19 in April 2022.

“I am genuinely relieved Jessica is doing well. This statement, however, reads like it was drafted by @ctvedmonton. “While I will not share private medical information publicly…”. But she apparently already did, which is *specifically* why people have the questions they have.”

Current public knowledge due to Jessica Robb announcing it on social media herself, she has had 3 Covid-19 vaccine shots as of April 28, 2022. If she continued to get “boosted”, based on the recommendation from Health Canada she should have 4 or 5 injected into her body.

The medical incident unfolded on Sunday night while she was reporting on location and during a conversation with the network’s anchor Nahreman Issa she went from smiles to a serious face, began to slur her words and repeat herself.

Robb then managed to say “Sorry Nahreman. I’m , I’m, I’m not feeling very well right now, and I’m about to just…”

She was interrupted by Issa who said, “Okay, we’ll come back to you and we’ll make sure that Jessica, you are doing okay.” as Robb appears to start stumbling towards the camera when it cuts out and goes back to Nahreman and she added, “We will make sure that Jessica is okay and we will give you guys an update a little bit later to make sure that she is doing all right. She is not alone. She is with photog operators.”.

The video has been viewed millions of times since it was posted on Twitter.

CTV News journalist Jessica Robb’s Twitter account has been made private and all of her Tweets are protect since she experienced the medical emergency live on air.
