Vancouver Police identify victim in homicide near York Shelter

Vancouver Police have identified the victim in Sunday night’s homicide outside the Yukon Shelter.

St. Anne, 40-year-old man, was stabbed during an altercation with another person outside the shelter around 9:30 p.m. near Yukon and West 5th Avenue.

The victim, was a resident at the shelter. He was transported to hospital and around 10:30pm died from his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
