Kelowna RCMP investigating serious assault on Nickel Road

Kelowna RCMP is investigating after two men were allegedly physically assaulted and sprayed bear spray.

Kelowna RCMP statement says on April 30, 2022 just after 8:35 a.m it was reported a man was being assault and the police were dispatch to a residence in the 200 block of Nickel Road in Kelowna.

When the officers arrived on scene they found a 41 year-old man in the residence suffering minor injuries from the attack and bear spray.

The suspects for the assault fled the scene before police arrived.

During the early portion of the investigation police have evidence to believe this was a targeted incident and there is no risk to the public stated Cst. Solana Paré of the Kelowna RCMP.

This investigation is in the preliminary stages, and no arrests have been made at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
