House shot up and damaged in Whalley neighbourhood

Surrey RCMP are warning about a home that was shot up in the Whalley neighbourhood early Wednesday.

The police say just after 5a.m. a house in the 10600-block of 138 Street became the scene of a targeted shooting.

There were several people inside the residence at the time the shots were fired, no injuries were reported except the house was damaged according to police.

The investigation is in it’s early stages while the investigations unit works to determine a motive.

Police haven’t said if this shooting was connect with the one from last Thursday on December 30, 2022 in the Newton area after 9 p.m.

On December 22, 2022 another shooting was reported at another Whalley residence in the 13700-block of Grosvenor Road where a man was discovered by police suffering from gun shot wounds.
