Prince George High School Students taunt random people then call the police on them

On May 30, 2022, Prince George RCMP responded to a call about someone allegedly with a weapon at Prince George Secondary School just after 10:30 a.m.

The school administration reported the incident to police, a statement from the RCMP reads. According to the school administration several students reported they were chased by a man outside of the school and alleged the man “might have been in possession of a weapon.”

The police quickly arrive on scene and located the individuals described as the suspects identified by the students.

During the initial investigation, police learned the students were taunting the individuals who responded by “yelling and acting erratically”.

No weapons were located stats Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP. Witnesses to the incident told police they saw the students taunting the individuals. According to police, they are working with school staff to identify all those involved.
