Police respond to “sudden death” at Tim Hortons

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Police responded to a report of a “sudden death” at a Fort St. John Tim Hortons on Tuesday last week.

On December 27, 2022 after 10a.m. the police received a call about a diseased person at a Tim Hortons located on 100th Street.

The RCMP believe the death is not to be considered suspicious and has handed the investigation over to the BC Coroners Service.

According to the BC Coroners Service their investigation is still on going and there is no further information at this time. The BC Coroners said the conclusion to the cause and manner of death are decided after the investigation which typically takes from a couple weeks up to a couple months.
