Surrey RCMP investigate shots fired in Cloverdale Area

At approximately 3:24 pm on December 17, 2022, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 6400-block of 188th Street.

Responding members located evidence to support a shooting having occurred. Shortly thereafter, a victim was located in the 18900-block of Fraser Highway suffering from gunshot wounds.  The male victim was transported to local hospital with serious injuries.  There are no individuals in custody.

Officers conducted neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information.

Anyone with more information, including dash cam footage around the area of 188th Street and 64th Avenue between 3:00 pm  and 3:30 pm, is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote file #2022-191275.
