Richmond RCMP investigating shots fired

Shortly after 2:00 p.m. on August 18, 2022, frontline Richmond RCMP officers responded to the area of Fraserbank Place in east Richmond, after reports of gun shots being fired.


Richmond RCMP Serious Crime Unit has taken conduct of this investigation and believe that it was a targeted shooting. A dark coloured pickup truck was observed fleeing the scene and investigators have located an abandoned vehicle suspected of being involved in the incident in Surrey. There are no reported injuries at this time.
