One woman stabbed at the grocery store and sent to hospital in what appears to be a random attack.
Police received a call on June 2, 2022 at approximately 12:55 p.m. of a report of a woman being stabbed at the inside a grocery store located in the 14600-block of 104 Avenue. According to the police after arriving within minutes they found a woman suffer from what appeared to be stab wounds. First was performed on the victim at the scene then she was transported to hospital serious injuries.
The Surrey RCMP have released photos of the suspect and asking the public to help identify her. The suspect is described as a female in her 30’s, with long dark hair, navy blue V-neck shirt, black pants, white shoes, carrying a blue satchel.

Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit has taken conduct of the investigation and are actively working to identify and locate the suspect who fled the area immediately after the stabbing, police wrote in a statement.
Police say during the initial investigation, both women are not known to each other and there was no reported confrontation before the alleged stabbing.
