Penticton RCMP make arrest after evening stabbing

Penticton RCMP are investigating an incident that took place on the Ellis Creek walkway on May 3, 2022 where a male was stabbed.

At approximately 8pm, a 30-year old man presented himself to Penticton Regional Hospital with a stab wound. Based on the name and description of the attacker, provided by the victim, police were able to identify the suspect.

The next day police arrested the 35-year old suspect without incident and held him in custody. The BC Prosecution Service has approved one charge of Aggravated Assaulted upon Penticton resident Cody Pelletier.

The investigation is on going.
