Kamloops RCMP seek help identifying suspect in relation to alleged robbery

The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is looking to identify a suspect in a recent robbery.

On Friday May 27, 2022 around 7:40 p.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers were called to a robbery on the 700-block of Fortune Drive. According to the report, a woman was approached in the parking lot by someone who threatened her and demanded money.

Surveillance in the area captured an image of the suspect, which police are releasing to help identify the person and further the investigation, said Constable Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • In their 40s

Clothing description:

  • Blue jeans with paint smudges on the front thighs
  • Green shoes
  • Plaid button up shirt
  • Black toque with a blue bandanna and red flowers on underneath
  • Sunglasses
  • Black shoulder bag
