A woman is being charged for two stabbings in Surrey, B.C.
On June 4, 2022, Surrey RCMP arrested a suspect in relation to two stabbings that occurred in the Guildford area two days apart
Surrey RCMP say charges have been laid against Chantelle Ashley Mulleady, 33-years-old in relation to two alleged stabbings in the Guildford area two days apart.
Chantelle Ashley Mulleady, 33-years-old, has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and two counts of Assault with a Weapon.
Surrey RCMP’s General Investigation Unit took conduct of both investigations, gathered evidence and submitted reports to BC Prosecution Service for charge assessment.
On June 4, 2022 at approximately at 8:55 p.m., police were called to Walmart located in the 10300-block of 152 Street in Surrey for the report of a stabbing. Upon attendance police learned that the suspect had fled the store. The victim was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police received a call on June 2, 2022 at approximately 12:55 p.m. of a report of a woman being stabbed at the inside a grocery store located in the 14600-block of 104 Avenue. According to the police after arriving within minutes they found a woman suffer from what appeared to be stab wounds. First was performed on the victim at the scene then she was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
She remains in custody awaiting her next court appearance.
