Poll: BC voters say BC NDP Government is doing horrible

“B.C. residents rank cost of living and inflation, health care, and housing affordability as their top issues, and at least seven-in-ten say the BC NDP is doing a poor job handling each” revealed a new Angus Reid poll.

David Eby is starting with a lower approval rating as British Columbia’s new unelected premier with a 46% approval rating compared to John Horgan’s start with 50% approval but nearly one third of British Columbians are not sure about Eby.

Eby came in acknowledging many of the issues that British Columbians are facing and said he will be tackling them. Issues such as Cost of Living, Health Care, Environment/climate change and street crime to name a few.

The BC NDP have been in power since 2017 and some of these issues have been on their supposed to do list since they got power. New statistics reveal the BC NDP are doing a terrible job with all the top issues British Columbian’s are facing.

BC NDP top issues approval rating receives a failing grade in each area:

  • Cost of living 15%
  • healthcare 25%
  • housing affordability 12%
  • Street Crime and public safety 22%
  • addictions/opioid crisis 14%

With failures with ongoing concerns about housing, affordability, and health care plaguing the BC NDP it appears to have had little affect on them politically. Residents have been critical but still prefer to have the BC NDP at the helm.

When respondents were asked if there were an election nearly half (47%) say that they would vote for the BCNDP, One-in-three (32%) would vote BC Liberals/BC United and 14% BC Green.
