Surrey RCMP make arrest in sexual assault case

On May 25, 2022, at approximately 10:20 a.m., Surrey RCMP received a report of a possible sighting of the suspect in the 9600 block of 120 Street. Frontline officers attended the area, located and arrested the suspect without incident.

On May 21 at approximately 6:40 am, police were called to the 12900 block of 101A Avenue in Surrey for a report of a break-and-enter to a residence. Upon attendance, Frontline officers spoke with an adult female resident, who reported that she had been sexually assaulted by an unknown male suspect. The female victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as an unknown male in his mid 30’s with light coloured skin, approximately 5’6 tall, wearing dark coloured clothing.
