On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, shortly after 12:00 a.m., Prince George RCMP Frontline Police officers received multiple reports of shots being fired on the 2300-block of Queensway. Police immediately flooded the area but were unable to locate any suspects.

Witnesses in the area say they heard multiple shots and saw a car leaving the area southbound on Queensway around the same time. We are looking for anyone in the area that has surveillance video or dash cam footage of the incident or of a vehicle leaving the area that may provide more information on this investigation, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

This is a second time in a month police have responded to this area for a report of shots fired. See our related media release here.

The investigation is ongoing.
