Inmate on the loose after bolting from Surrey Pretrial Centre

At about 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, Surrey RCMP were notified that Mustafa Sa’Ada had fled from the pretrial centre at 14323 57th Ave.

Police are reaching out to the public asking for help spotting an inmate who escaped on foot from the Surrey Pretrial Services Centre wearing just one shoe.

At about 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, Surrey RCMP were notified that Mustafa Sa’Ada had fled from the pretrial centre at 14323 57th Ave.

He took off running and was last need heading towards Highway 10. Mountains and police dogs showed up in area to search for him on Thursday afternoon. Mustafa Sa’Ada is considered unlawfully at large.

Sa’Ada is a 32-year-old Middle Eastern man, five-foot-eight with a slim build. He was wearing a grey sweater, dark brown-grey pants and one white shoe.

“Mustafa Sa’Ada has a history of violent offences and was in custody for robbery,” said RCMP Cpl. Vanessa Munn in a press release. “If you see him, do not approach him, call 911 immediately.”
