Burnaby RCMP investigating shooting that has injured one man

Burnaby RCMP is investigating a shooting that has left one man with non-life-threatening injuries.

On Monday, November 21 just before 11 p.m. Burnaby RCMP responded to reports of shots fired at a home on Nithsdale Street near Smith Avenue in Burnaby.

When police arrived, they found several people at a home, including a 47-year-old man who had been shot in the arm and leg. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Burnaby RCMP is still investigating the circumstances, however there are early indications the shooting was targeted and may have involved several suspects who fled the area.

Investigators are still gathering details from witnesses who were at the home at the time of the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999.
