Surrey stabbing leaves two people injured

Surrey RCMP is investigating after two people were injured in a stabbing at a residence in Surrey.

On July 22 at approximately 3:00 a.m., police were called to a home in the 13000 block of 101B in Surrey for a report of a stabbing. Upon police attendance two adult victims were located, one male and one female, suffering injuries consistent with stab wounds. First aid was rendered on scene, and both victims were transported to hospital, and are currently in stable condition.

Early indications are that this incident stemmed from an altercation that preceded the stabbing. Police are working to identify all parties involved, including possible suspects and will be continuing with canvassing in the area, looking for CCTV footage are anyone with dash cam.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit at 604-599-0502.
