Surrey RCMP investigate shots fired in Guildford

Surrey RCMP were on scene in the District 2 (Guilford) area of Surrey for a report of shots being fired.

At approximately midnight on September 25, 2022, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 16200-block of 80 Avenue. A male suffering from injuries was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Officers conducted neighborhood canvassing and spoke with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages, but initial indications are that this is a targeted/isolated incident.
