RCMP investigate after men caught on video beating up a angler

On Sunday a man fishing on Vedder River was assaulted by 3 people.

Chilliwack RCMP are currently investigating the beating.

A video of the incident shows a boat speeding down the river and pulls up to a group of people fishing from the shore.

Three men jumped off the boat and attqcked one of the anglers in a senseless beating.

According to Global News, witnesses sais the anglers yelled at the boat to slow down earlier

The incident took place approximately 3:30 p.m. around the Lumsden Road area of the river, according to Sgt. Mike Sargent with Upper Fraser Valley RCMP

Police say they were made aware of the incident almost immediately after it took place and say the people from on the boat could face charges of assault or assault causing bodily harm.

Although the Police say this video one tells a part of the incident, however some more witnesses have come forwater with more information.

The RCMP are asking the public for more videos of anyone else was able to record the assult, in order to help the investigation
