Quesnel – Police are currently investigating what was described to them as a random stabbing in the area of Reid street
Police were called to a scene where a person was suffering from a knife wound.
Paramedics were responding to a report of someone injured On Wednesday, January 19, 2022 around 5:30 pm, ” they had been notified of a person in need of urgent medical attention.” Quesnel RCMP said in a news release
It was reported that an adult man had been walking along the 400 Block of Reid Street when he was confronted by an unknown man and stabbed. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
This could have ended much differently and we ask that anyone who may have been in the area during this time, to contact the police,
