Prince George RCMP seize drugs, guns from residence

On August 6, 2022, shortly after 6:00 a.m., Prince George RCMP Frontline Police officers attended a residence on the 7600-block of Gladstone Drive for an unrelated matter. During the course of the investigation police officers entered the residence and located a large quantity of what appeared to be drug trafficking related paraphernalia.

Police seized several items, including large quantities of suspected Methamphetamine and Fentanyl, and smaller amounts of suspected Cocaine and Psilocybin. Police also located various prescription medications and a modified pellet gun.

There is no doubt that this seizure represents a significant disruption to the drug trafficking activity in Prince George, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Police are familiar with those who were in the residence. Several people were arrested at the time of the investigation, and were released pending further investigation.
