Police seeking witnesses to shooting in the Cloverley neighborhood

On September 14th at 5:15 am North Vancouver RCMP responded to reports of a shooting in the 1100 block of Cloverley St in North Vancouver, BC.

Front line officers arrived and located evidence that indicated multiple shots had been fired in the direction of a parked vehicle on Cloverely Street. There are no reported injuries at this time.

The North Vancouver RCMP Serious Crime Unit (SCU) and Investigational Support Team (IST) attended the scene to assist frontline patrol in conducting the initial investigation. The Lower Mainland Integrated Forensic Identification Service also attended location to process the scene and collect evidence.

The investigating is still in its early stages at this time, and it is unknown if this is related to the Lower Mainland Gang Conflict, however, we are exploring all avenues in this investigation, said Constable Mansoor Sahak of North Vancouver RCMP.

Investigators would like to speak to any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, and anyone who may have dash camera video, or residential video surveillance. If you have information that could assist with the investigation, please contact the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311 and quote file 22-23366.
