Coquitlam RCMP is asking for dash cam video of a vehicle of interest in targeted shooting

On March 25, 2022, at approximately 3:37 p.m., Coquitlam RCMP responded to a confirmed shooting in the 1600-block of Chickadee Place. Upon arrival, officers located one male victim known to police who was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A short time later, a vehicle fire was reported in the 2200-block of Hope St, Port Moody and is believed to be connected to the shooting.

A second vehicle of interest to police is a newer model black Hyundai Sante Fe, bearing license plate FL335K. Investigators are looking for help from the public in determining the current location of this Santa Fe. If located, please call 911 immediately. Police are in the evidence-gathering phase, and are requesting that anyone with information regarding this investigation, or anyone with dash cam video please contact the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2022-7446.
