3 suspicious people arrested in Chilliwack turned out to be wanted

According to a police statement a a citizen with a keen eye noticed suspicious activity and a possible stolen vehicle.

On May 31, 2022, Tuesday morning around 8:30 a.m. the citizen became concerned about suspicious activity at 46700 block of Chilliwack Central Road and reported it to the Chilliwack RCMP.

Officers arrived and discovered the vehicle was stolen, two men and a woman were in the area and “possibly associated to the stolen vehicle” RCMP wrote in a statement.

As the investigation continued, police questioned the three and discovered they were wanted on outstanding arrest warrants. Officers subsequently arrested the trio and they are currently being held in custody awaiting their court appearance.

Investigation into the stolen vehicle continues.
